This is a popular college hangout located near the University of Washington. Located in the basement of the College Inn, the pub is an active place located just east of the University of Washington. After closing hours, sightings of an Irish man named Howard Bok have been reported in the back room. The legend of Howard Bok says he was a sailor who stopped in Seattle and stayed at the College Inn. He was murdered in the building and his ghost inhabited the basement many years before the Pub was established in 1974. Howard’s ghost is said to hang out in the small back room of the pub, nammed the Snug Room, and his spirit can be felt especially strongly after hours. Some witnesses say Howard has even been rumored to play the piano that sits in the Snug Room.
